(including specialist joinery in historic oak)
The dedicated craftsmen at DJH combine traditional carpentry methods with proven modern day techniques to make structural and non structural repairs to historic buildings. The traditional carpentry methods used during replacement of defective timbers ensures the building's integrity for many years to come. They repair oak frames using as much of the original timber as possible. Any new timber is hand selected from historical reclaimed beams to ensure seamless blending to existing wood. Any defects are sympathetically repaired using structural resin compound or new timber. They can provide bespoke joinery to complement every oak frame building for a perfect finish every time.
